In the center of the village, in the schoolyard of Dragovo, stands the Building of the Old School. Architecturally, it belongs to the type of purpose-built buildings in Serbia from the second half of the 19th century. It is rectangular in shape, with a longitudinal corridor and two classrooms on either side. At the end of the corridor was the teacher's apartment. It was here, in 1884, that Dušan Popović was born—a socialist fighter, follower of Svetozar Marković, collaborator of Dimitrije Tucović, journalist, and publicist. He was one of the founders of the Workers' Movement and the founder of the Social-Democratic Party. Later, he became the editor-in-chief of the Workers' Newspaper and, together with Dimitrije Tucović, founded the paper ‘Borba’.
