The remains of the church dedicated to the Transfiguration of Christ are located in the village cemetery in Gorovič near Topola. There are no significant mentions of it in historical sources, which greatly complicates dating. According to local tradition, the church was built by Despot Stefan Lazarević before his departure for the Battle of Nicopolis in 1396. Judging by its architectural features and stylistic characteristics, it certainly dates to the period mentioned in the tradition, at the end of the 14th or the beginning of the 15th century, and belongs to the Moravian architectural school. It has a triconch layout with a large semicircular apse on the eastern side and smaller side chantries on the northern and eastern sides. The church has an elongated shape with a narthex added in the 17th century, followed by a spacious exonarthex built in the 18th century. The total dimensions of the church are 20m x 7m, with high, massive walls. The semi-domed vault of considerable span is preserved only in the altar space, above which is part of a two-pitched roof covered with sheet metal. It was built from broken and dressed stone, and the interior walls were plastered and frescoed, though only a few fragments of these frescoes remain. The facades are simply treated without decorative plastic, except for the decorations on the roof cornice and portals. The cordon cornice consists of a series of consoles and blind arcades and runs along the entire length of the northern and southern walls. The church was in use until the 19th century, but it completely collapsed at that time, and the iconostasis was transferred to the church in the Village of Saranova.
