amidzin konak u kragujevcu, milosev venac, zavod za zastitu spomenika kulture kragujevac

The Building at No. 52 Tanaska Rajića Street in Kragujevac was constructed between the two World Wars and represents a valuable example of urban architecture from that period. It features a prominent profiled roof cornice, corner pilasters, and a high ground floor with an emphasized parapet wall. The house is the legacy of painter Ljubica Filipović, born in Rijeka in 1885, who lived in Kragujevac until her death in 1975. She painted in the spirit of Impressionism and, despite losing her sight in her later years, continued to paint tirelessly. Ljubica Filipović bequeathed the house she lived in, along with all her artworks, to the National Museum in Kragujevac. In addition to its architectural significance, the house holds historical value as the residence and workplace of this great artist.
