amidzin konak u kragujevcu, milosev venac, zavod za zastitu spomenika kulture kragujevac

The House at No. 19 Svetozara Markovića Street (now No. 17) in Kragujevac was built in the first half of the 19th century as a private residence for Nedeljko Stojković, better known as Prince Dena (Serbian Knez Dena), a prominent public figure of Miloš's era. It was constructed as a typical house of that period. The central part of the house faces the street, as does the entire yard area with a well. It was built as a residence with a large basement section in bondruk construction, with brick vents. The roof is covered with tiles. This building, like many others in this street, was created in the spirit of its time and is one of the most significant preserved structures in the city. Today, it is used for commercial purposes, and the users take great care of the heritage.
