amidzin konak u kragujevcu, milosev venac, zavod za zastitu spomenika kulture kragujevac

The House at No. 116 Kragujevačkog Oktobra Street is a corner residential building, constructed at the beginning of the 20th century using solid materials. It consists of a basement and a high ground floor, featuring decorative attics, shallow arcades, and an emphasized frieze below the attic.

The corner of the building is polygonally rounded, and it features a notched pyramidal roof form. Geometric shapes are applied to the parapets, as well as to the part of the facade above the windows up to the roof cornice. It was built in the spirit of early 20th-century bourgeois architecture, when there was a slight influence of new trends and a transition to a more modern style in architecture. As such, it represents an important example of a well-preserved bourgeois house in Kragujevac.
