The Building of the Resava Library was constructed in 1903 as a family house of Dimitrije Mita Isaković, the founder of the first financial institution and the first savings bank in Svilajnac. It is made of brick, stone, and steel profiles for the inter-floor structure above the basement. The building has a rectangular foundation, with a basement under half of the ground floor. The facades are plastered, with mild facade decoration that contains characteristics of urban architecture. The facade facing the street is somewhat more richly decorated. The roof is four-sided, covered with pepper tiles. In the post-war years, the building was assigned to the Resava Library for use, and it has remained so to this day.
