The Memorial Cementery dedicated to the victims of World War I is a monumental monument dedicated to Serbian and Austro-Hungarian soldiers who died in World War I, erected between 1933 and 1938. It consists of a crypt and a chapel in the form of a pyramid with a cross on top, with a vaulted opening closed by an iron grate facing the approach staircase. The pyramid is elevated above a base under which the ossuary is located. The entire monument is made of gray granite blocks. The interior of the chapel is decorated with wall paintings featuring figures of medieval rulers and cherubs.
This significant architectural heritage represents a historical landmark for remembrance and a warning about the wars and suffering they bring.
