The Church of St. Archangel Gabriel in Vrbica, near Aranđelovac, is one of the most beautiful patronal buildings of Prince Miloš Obrenović (Serbian Knez Miloš Obrenović). It has high architectural and artistic value. Construction began in 1860 and was completed in 1863. It is a single-nave building built in a pseudo-Romanesque style with a baroque bell tower on the western side. The church is made of brick and externally covered with rectangular stone blocks from the quarry of the Village of Klištevica, with natural shades of various colors. The interior of the church is plastered, without frescoes, and features a valuable iconostasis in the classicist style. Special attention was dedicated to the construction of the iconostasis, which represents one of the first independent works of Nikola Marković. During World War I, the church was turned into a hospital.
