The Birthplace of National Hero Vojislav Manojlović is located in the hamlet called Kosa, on the right bank of the Kubršnica River in the Village of Banja. Originally, the house was a semi-log structure, but it has been modified in recent times, with the log section now partially replaced by brickwork.

It was in this house, on January 11, 1925, that Vojislav Manojlović was born. He became a member of the League of Communist Youth of Yugoslavia (SKOJ) in 1942 and joined the National Liberation Struggle in 1943. Manojlović served as a rifleman-machine gunner and deputy commander of the Third Company of the Third Battalion in the Third Serbian Proletarian Shock Brigade.

He was killed in action on September 14, 1944, during a battle against Chetnik forces in the Gaglovo-Kapidžija sector near Veliki Šiljegovac. During his lifetime, in early September 1944, the Presidency of AVNOJ awarded him the Order of the Partisan Star, Third Class. He was posthumously declared a National Hero on January 12, 1945.
