Arch Bridge No. 1, together with Arch Bridge No. 2, forms a harmonious and unique spatial unity connecting the left and right banks of the Lepenica River. It was built in 1923, based on the designs of Ministry of Construction engineer Vasa Novičić. The bridge is made of reinforced concrete with a span of thirty meters. Its structural system consists of an arch with a tie and a suspended roadway.

The roadway structure comprises road slabs, secondary longitudinal beams, and transverse beams. The total width of the bridge is 11.65 meters, with a roadway width of 6.20 meters. The useful width of the pedestrian paths on both sides of the roadway is 1 meter. The main supports are parabolic-shaped arches, lending the bridge elegance and making it visually attractive. These arches are supported by steel bearings on massive riverbank pillars. The left riverbank pillar features a fixed bearing, while the right pillar has a movable roller bearing.
