The Old Church in Jagodina is a legacy of Prince Miloš Obrenović (Serbian Knez Miloš Obrenović) from 1818 and is dedicated to Archangel Michael. It has a tripartite base, modest dimensions, and a simple exterior without decoration. It is plastered both inside and outside. It is one of the best-preserved churches from Miloš's time, retaining almost all of its authenticity. The church contains an iconostasis dating from 1822. The frescoes are the work of Jaša Moller and his circle of collaborators. The church also houses numerous valuable items, such as a silver chalice and a diskos made of gilded silver from 1879, an antimins printed on a fine piece of linen measuring 75cm x 64cm, and several icons.
