The household of the national hero Sofija Ristić consists of a semi-log house, a brick house, and a dairy. The semi-log house is built in the ‘on the cell’ style with a basement beneath half of the ground floor. In the part with horizontally stacked logs, interlocked at the ends, there is the ‘house’ with a fully preserved hearth, original chains, a wardrobe, bread-making tools, and all the details characteristic of a house from that period. In another part of the house, there is a large room built in a log construction system with brick infill. The room has undergone some changes regarding the interior. The roof is gabled, originally covered with tiles, which were later replaced with corrugated roofing.
In the front part of the house, where the hearth is located, there was a dugout during the war. The entrance to the dugout was beneath the hearth itself, so it was camouflaged by the hearth. After the war, the shelter was covered up.
