In the 1920s, on an elevation in the center of the Village Brzan, a Log Church was built, dedicated to St. Prophet Elijah. It was placed on shallow foundations made of rubble stone. The church was built in the shape of a ship, with horizontal layering of logs. It consists of a porch, nave, and altar. The porch is semi-open, with polygonal bends at the base, ornamented with oak columns and a fence made of profiled, vertically stacked shingles. The porch floor is paved with old-format bricks, and the ceiling is covered with profiled and edge-painted shingles. The interior floor is paved with square-format bricks. The ceiling is barrel-vaulted and covered with profiled shingles. This vaulted ceiling ends over the altar space, bending and following the shape of the polygonal altar apse. The church's roof is high and steep, covered with oak shingles. The church is distinguished by its rich geometric ornaments on the western and northern doors, as well as painted floral motifs on the iconostasis.

The Log Church in Brzan was declared a cultural monument – immovable cultural heritage, by the Decision of the Institute for the Protection and Scientific Study of Cultural Monuments of the People's Republic of Serbia, decision No. 2264/48 from December 20, 1948.
