The ‘Karadžić’ Villa in Bukovik, built in the 1930s, was designed by architect Andrej Papkov, a Russian émigré. The villa`s name comes from the first owner, the director of the National Theatre in Niš. The biforas, triforas, and all the arched openings are clad with quarry-masonry granite stone. The facade treatment is dominated by white with red (brick) and gray elements. The building is significant as a valuable architectural heritage with rich facade plastic, and it is properly integrated into the ambiance of the Bukovička Banja Park.
