The Building at No. 69 Svetozara Markovića Street is a multi-story structure composed of two wings, with a developed layout and axial symmetry. It was built in the spirit of eclecticism, with a strong influence of academicism and classicist decorative elements. Constructed of brick and reinforced concrete, it was erected shortly after the first World War under the name “Under the Mercy”, serving as a dormitory for students and military cadets from Macedonia.

The Building at No. 69 Svetozara Markovića Street in Kragujevac was designated as a cultural heritage by the Decision of the Government of the Republic of Serbia No. 633-3153/97-23, dated August 8, 1997, published in the Official Gazette of the Republic of Serbia, No. 39, on September 5, 1997.
