The Fortification ‘Jerina‘s Town’ in the Village of Belica is located at the boundary of the villages of Belica, Ničević, and Staro Selo. It represents a multi-layered settlement founded in the Younger Neolithic period. In addition to Neolithic layers, the site also contains finds from the Bronze Age, traces of habitation from the 4th to 7th century, as well as remains of a Slavic settlement up to the medieval period of the 14th century. It is assumed that this fortification was the first administrative center of the medieval district of Belica, which is first mentioned in written sources in 1183.
