The Church of Preradovac in Oparić was most likely built in the 13th century. There are no precise historical records about this monument, apart from oral tradition. Over the centuries, it suffered a series of burnings and reconstructions. According to certain sources, the Church was erected in the Kalenić vineyards, in order to allow the Kalenić monks to perform services undisturbed during vineyard work. It was constructed in a combined technique – of stone and brick. The roof is gabled, and the Church is plastered nowadays. The base is triconchoidal, but it is vaulted as if it were a single-nave building, without a dome.

It is known with reliably that in 1778 it was burned down by the Turks, as well as in 1814, during Hadži-Prodan’s Uprising.

In 1871, a major reconstruction was carried out with the support of the brotherhood of the Kalenić Monastery. During the last two decades, it underwent significant alterations and was painted with frescoes.
