The Building of the Old Hospital in Svilajnac was constructed between 1906 and 1909 in a neoclassical style. It is symmetrical and was purposefully designed as a hospital building with capacities that met the needs of the time. The structure is made of brick and stone, externally plastered and painted light green, with prominent façade plastic decorations painted white. The building is elevated from the ground with a plinth four steps high; the plinth is plastered, though it was originally roughcast. The horizontal parapet is emphasized along the entire building's facade. The central portal, doorposts, and the entablature above the door are richly profiled, as is the stone rosette above the door. The entrance side is symmetrical, with the entrance dominating in the middle, topped by a gable wall. The side entrances are framed with white-painted jambs. The windows are framed with simplified jambs made of plaster. In the upper third of the windows, a blind arcade is painted in plaster. The roof is multi-pitched, with shorter sides ending in gables. The eaves are deep with profiled rafters. Inside the building, the central hall leads directly to the doctor's office, while the hospital rooms are accessed from the sides. Both wings contain three interconnected hospital rooms.
