Exhibition Panels in the House of Archpriest Miloje Barjaktarević
The publication and exhibition panels present seven sacred structures built during the 18th and the first half of the 19th century, which represent a valuable part of the cultural heritage. They were constructed manually from locally available materials, without machine processing, and were built by self-taught craftsmen. Erected during the period of intense struggles against Ottoman rule, they were hidden in forests and hills.
The exhibition, under the auspices of the National Museum, is an attempt to bring the history, culture, and tradition of this region closer to the public.
