In the Village of Velika Kruševica, near Rekovac, stands the Church of St. Nicholas, commonly known as Manastirak. Although there is no precise information about when it was built, it is known to date back to the 15th century, during the time of Despot Stefan Lazarević.

The church of the Manastirak monastery is a building with harmonious and balanced proportions. Its layout combines a tripartite design and a simplified inscribed cross. On the western side, there is a large rectangular narthex. Above the central space rises a slender octagonal dome. In relation to its base, the church has an emphasized height, achieved by placing a cubic base beneath the lower edge of the dome. The entrance portal is on the western side, arch-shaped, as are all the windows on the walls and the tambour of the dome. During minor archaeological works, it was discovered that the facades were decorated with alternating layers of brick, stone, and lime mortar. The church was originally covered with lead sheets and featured sculptural ornamentation around the portal and windows. The Church in Velika Kruševica has not fully preserved its original medieval appearance, but restoration work carried out in the late 1980s returned it to its former look.
